700th Complete Bible

Through Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL, we are committed to work in partnership with global and local organizations that share the vision and mission of Bible translation. Working together, we just celebrated a major milestone: the completion of the 700th full Bible!

Take a couple of minutes to view a brief video (click this link) as we together celebrate this progress in bringing Christ to all nations.

This landmark means that 5.7 billion people now have access to the complete Word of God in their language–being proclaimed in their churches, reaching out to their hearts. This represents 80% of the world’s population!

About Roger and Cherie

Roger and Cherie Hanggi have worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators for the past 25 years. They first served in Cameroon, Africa for two terms. They have now returned to the U.S. and Roger is helping build a collaborative environment where mission partners from many organizations share information, coordinate plans, and shape strategies. It is amazing to see so many diverse missions learning to work and serve together.
